Our Positive Planner Family isn’t just the two of us anymore! We love that we’ve created a brand and ethos that like-minded people want to work with and this means we’ve been able to bring some amazingly talented Planners onboard!
Co-founder and Director
Hi, I’m Ali and I’m the creative brains behind The Positive Planner. You’ll usually find me in a sea of arts, crafts, coffee and chaos, but I have to admit, I love it that way!
I worked as a costume and set designer for over a decade after graduating from Central St Martins Art School. Being one of the co-founders of The Positive Planner means I’ve worn a lot of hats in the business, but my main jam is coming up with weird and wonderful new ideas in product development and design.
I’ll also be the one hosting your Positive Workshop. I truly believe people who gather together, grow together and so I love combining my obsession for crafting with bringing like-minded people together. Crafting is such a powerful tool in looking after our mental health and emotional wellbeing and I get a real buzz seeing what we can achieve in an afternoon.
When I’m not doing all this, I’ll be getting my hands dirty down at my new allotment. We had our first harvest this year – there were some whopper courgettes to be had! Self-care comes in many shapes and forms, and this one has definitely helped me (and my children) find some peace and tranquility.

Hi, I’m Finn and I’m the business brains behind The Positive Planner. I’ll be the one crunching the numbers and looking for new business ideas and opportunities!
Before all this, I co-owned an award-winning hairdressing and beauty salon in Cambridge for 8 years. This gave me a fantastic grounding in what’s needed to run a business. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m not all business, numbers and results! Creativity runs in my veins too and my flair lies in ideas, problem solving and marketing.
My business wife Ali and I have a really special relationship and we complement each other in our ways of working. I’m great with big ideas and Ali has an amazing ability to run with these, morphing them into real designs and products. We have a synergy between us that I believe is the key to our success. Ali will push me out of my comfort zone when my business-focused ways are holding us back and similarly I can rein her in when her creativity is spiralling. I really couldn’t imagine working with anyone else!
While Ali’s based in Bath in the UK, I’m a little further afield. I moved with my husband and son to Kenya in 2019. Self-care has many sides for me, but if you check out my Instagram account you’ll see early morning beach walks and mental health check-ins are my constants.
Hi, I’m Hazel and I’m the organiser! It’s my mission to make sure Ali and Finn can stay focused on running the business.
But my organisational talents don’t just lie in acting as a PA. Over the years, I’ve organised the wrapping, packing and sending of over 20,000 Planners, Bullets and Wellnesses! This means I have what it takes to ensure the customer experience runs smoothly – from getting the books delivered to our warehouse to you receiving them beautifully wrapped and on time!
My role at The Positive Planner is growing just like the business and I’m quick and keen to take on new roles and responsibilities. I just love how diverse my work is here and that every day really is different! Being part of the Positive Planner Family is never boring!
